SUMMARY:Creativity with Clay: Making Pinch Pots (Part 1 of 2)
DESCRIPTION:This is the first day of a two-part series all about getting our hands into the clay. Everyone will get their own clay to work with. We will start with producing our pinch pots and applying surface decoration to them with stamps\, sgraffito\, rollers and techniques of your choice. The second day\, we will glaze the bisqued pots. We will have a range of glazes available for that perfect pot. This series of classes will be taught by Julie Nussbaum\, who has a diploma in fine arts\, is certified to teach K-12 and has worked with people of all ages and abilities. Please Note: In order to sign up for day two of this series\, you must also sign up for day one. \nSupport for this event was provided in part by a grant from the Community Endowment of Lexington\, an endowed fund of the Foundation for MetroWest.
