SUMMARY:Lunch Cooking Class: BBQ Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Unlike most of our cooking classes\, this one will take place mostly outdoors. We will teach you how to safely use a grill to make a picnic lunch\, including burgers\, hot dogs and/or grilled chicken. We will also make a few appetizers to go with our meal and enjoy eating outside at the picnic table in the garden with our friends\, followed by playing lawn games. No prior cooking experience necessary. You will get recipe cards to take home with you at the end of the class. We will reach out to you before the event to discuss allergies and preferences in order to pick recipes that everyone will enjoy.

You will have the opportunity to learn more about this holiday and bake traditional Indigenous items from the U.S. No previous baking experience necessary. You will leave with a recipe packet and informaton about the holiday. We will adapt the recipes we pick to meet the dietary needs of all participants.

DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a fun “night in” at CTI with your friends! We’ll start off by cooking dinner together\, followed by enjoying our meal and then watching a movie together. If you’d prefer\, you are welcome to bring your own food to enjoy instead of eating the meal we make. We will determine which movie we will be watching and which recipe we will be cooking closer to the date of the event. A recipe booklet will be included in the price of a ticket.
