DESCRIPTION:In our “Cooking Around the World” series\, you’ll learn about global culture and cuisine as we create a meal together and work on our independent cooking skills. Together\, we’ll explore language\, culture and history as we follow a recipe to make a traditional lunch typically eaten in another country. We’ll practice techniques such as dicing\, peeling and how to use a stove\, find ways to adapt the kitchen to meet individual needs and help you find the tools and equipment that work best for you. The price of the ticket includes a wonderful meal\, a helpful cooking guide and a recipe card to take home to your family. We will connect with you before the event to discuss allergies and preferences in order to pick a recipe that everyone will enjoy and will announce which dish we’ll be cooking closer to the event date. \nThis class will be taught by CTI Program Manager Erika Cain.

DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a fun “night in” at CTI with your friends! We’ll start off by cooking dinner together\, followed by enjoying our meal and then watching a movie together. If you’d prefer\, you are welcome to bring your own food to enjoy instead of eating the meal we make. We will determine which movie we will be watching and which recipe we will be cooking closer to the date of the event. A recipe booklet will be included in the price of a ticket. \nThis event will be hosted by CTI Program Manager Erika Cain.
