DESCRIPTION:This class is cancelled. It is being moved from March 3rd to March 10th because the instructor is feeling sick. If you have not yet signed up\, please do so if you’d like to attend this rescheduled date.\n\nUnfortunately\, Meg Schofield will be unable to teach yoga and mindfulness for the next few months due to injury. Luckily\, we were able to find a wonderful replacement–Tonya Salerno will take over teaching Meg’s classes. She will break the class up into two parts: one part yoga and one part mindfulness\, meditation and deep breathing.\n\nTonya has over 25 years of experience teaching individuals of all ages and abilities. She believes yoga should be accessible to every human\, creates a safe and supportive environment and brings a deep understanding of the practice of yoga and mindfulness both on and off the mat. Tonya is licensed by world renowned Yoga for All Abilities and is certified by Yoga Alliance as E-RYT 1000. She is a mother to two amazing children and\, in her free time\, enjoys dancing\, hiking\, art and reading.

DESCRIPTION:This event has been cancelled as a result of the instructors not being able to attend anymore. We apologize for the inconvenience. \nJoin us at the Cotting School Campus Center Rock Wall to get the chance to use this state of the art wall to practice your rock climbing skills. CTI is very lucky to have Cotting School’s rock climbing team (Marcie Garon\, Dave Largenton and Jim) around to help us use all the adaptive equipment to get on the wall. No experience or equipment required\, please just come dressed in comfortable athletic attire and close-toed sneakers. Staff are trained in all types of adaptive climbing\, from light physical assists to paraclimbing where they get you out of your wheelchair and into an adapted seat to go up the wall in. All participants must have a rock climbing waiver filled out before they are able to get on the wall. This waiver will be emailed out at a later date.

DESCRIPTION:Love music? Love Bingo? You’ll love CTI’s Music Bingo event! We will have multiple rounds\, all with different themes\, such as country music bingo\, Broadway musical bingo\, top radio hits bingo. Each round will come with it’s own set of prizes to be won. No food will be provided\, though participants should feel free to bring their own food if necessary. Bingo games will be adapted to meet the needs of all participants (such as virtual copies of bingo sheets\, ipads mirroring the larger screen if vision is a challenge and many support folks around to assist as needed).  This event is for participants and support care givers only.

SUMMARY:Recycled Art Class: Scrapbooking/Collaging
DESCRIPTION:Do you love art and getting creative? Do you like up-cycling items to recycle and reuse them? Join us at CTI for a monthly recycled art class. The purpose of this class is to take something ordinary and old\, and make it into something new and beautiful. During this class we will take photos that you bring in\, or photos from your time at CTI events\, and scrapbook them into something very cool. Small scrapbook journals will be provided\, as well as magazines\, different colors of scrap paper and stickers. Not into scrapbooking pictures? Cut things you like out of magazines and make a collage to express your dreams\, hopes and goals. This class will be taught by Erika Cain\, the program manager at CTI and an experienced teacher of 10 years. Participants do not need have any prior art experience in order to take this class.
