Please email Erika Cain at ecain@cotting.org to be added to the waitlist. \nJoin us at CTI for a Valentine’s Day gathering where you can spend time with your friends and share a little extra love with those in our CTI community. The party will have a card making station\, cookie decorating\, Valentine’s Day music bingo and light appetizers and drinks. Come dressed in your best reds\, pinks and heart clothing\, and get ready to spend some time with your friends. This event is for participants and any necessary support givers only\, as we want to build as much of a genuine party atmosphere for participants as we possibly can.

SUMMARY:Chinese New Year Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Chu Ling\, who founded Chu Ling Dance Academy in 1998\, has been a performer and advocate for the arts for over 40 years. As a dancer\, choreographer\, producer\, arts administrator and teacher\, she has worked with multi-age performance groups on various types of dance. Chu Ling and her group of dancers are excited to perform various traditional Chinese dances\, such as scarf dances and ribbon dances\, and teach participants about Chinese New Year\, explaining the importance of each type of dance. They will also teach participants to dance with them\, giving them their own scarves or ribbons to dance with! This will be followed by the opportunity to taste traditional Chinese New Year foods\, learn more about the holiday and socialize. Families of participants are welcome at this event–the more the merrier!
