DESCRIPTION:This event has been cancelled as a result of the instructors not being able to attend anymore. We apologize for the inconvenience. \nJoin us at the Cotting School Campus Center Rock Wall to get the chance to use this state of the art wall to practice your rock climbing skills. CTI is very lucky to have Cotting School’s rock climbing team (Marcie Garon\, Dave Largenton and Jim) around to help us use all the adaptive equipment to get on the wall. No experience or equipment required\, please just come dressed in comfortable athletic attire and close-toed sneakers. Staff are trained in all types of adaptive climbing\, from light physical assists to paraclimbing where they get you out of your wheelchair and into an adapted seat to go up the wall in. All participants must have a rock climbing waiver filled out before they are able to get on the wall. This waiver will be emailed out at a later date.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a very special CTI weekend event! We will be hosting a Saturday afternoon hockey viewing party. This Saturday we will watch the Bruins take on the Washington Capitals. Feel free to come hangout with your friends and experience an afternoon of cheering on our local team. Don’t know much about hockey? Come for the snacks (hockey snacks will be provided\, as well as soda and water to drink) and a “how to play” hockey lesson from our CTI staff.

DESCRIPTION:This event is cancelled\, please contact Erika Cain if you have any questions. \nAccessible Martial Arts is run by Easterseals of Massachusetts\, a nonprofit organization that provides a wide range of programs and services to disabled children and adults\, including therapy\, recreation\, employment support and assistive technology. \nThis class will be different than the last 2 sessions\, with the Easterseals instructor coming to CTI in person to teach the martial arts lesson! CTI staff will also be there to assist with any moves that participants might find challenging. The purpose of this class is to learn and practice self-defense\, stretching\, exercise and learn relaxation techniques.

DESCRIPTION:Have you heard about a sport that’s all the rage recently called pickleball? It’s a paddle sport the combines elements of tennis\, badminton and table tennis. If you like sports and want to learn something new\, feel free to sign up for a pickleball class with Kelsey Nagle\, a Cotting School teacher and racket sport enthusiast! Together we will learn the basics of the sport\, do drills and exercises to get more comfortable and even end the day with a full game of pickleball.
