You will learn about various Hispanic countries\, their culture–including language and history–and their delicious cuisine as we create a meal together and work on our independent cooking skills. Ticket price includes a wonderful mea\, a recipe card to take home to your family and educational materials. DESCRIPTION:Our drop-in lounge events provide young adults (with the support of a PCA/parent/caregiver\, if applicable) the opportunity to hang out with their friends\, play games\, get creative with some craft projects and enjoy a meal together. Meals are included in the price and rotate between pizza and pasta from one week to the next. This week we will be enjoying a pizza dinner\, including gluten free and dairy free options. You are welcome to bring your own food\, if you would prefer\, as long as it is nut free.

DESCRIPTION:Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10-day holiday observed in countries with a large Hindu population\, including India\, Canada\, Malaysia\, Singapore\, Mauritius\, the UK and the USA. It celebrates the birth of Ganesha\, an elephant-headed deity of wisdom and prosperity known as the remover of obstacles. In this class\, we will learn about this holiday and create Ganesha-inspired art pieces out of clay and paper. No food or drink (besides water) will be provided\, so please plan ahead.
