The classes will incorporate modified practices and supportive visual materials inspired by the SMYLE™ (Sensory and Mindfulness-based Yoga for Learning Environments™) program\, co-created with former Cotting special educator Meg Hennessey Schofield. Practices may include breathing exercises\, mindful movement\, adaptable yoga forms\, relaxation techniques (including guided meditation) and sensory-based strategies designed to help participants feel calm\, focused and empowered. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Practices will be adapted to support a wide range of abilities and comfort levels.\n\n\nLynn Stoller\, MS\, OTR\, C-IAYT\, E-RYT 500\, is the founding president of the Sensory-Enhanced Yoga® Institute and a retired occupational therapist who worked at Cotting School for 36 years. Throughout her career\, she often incorporated yoga and sensory-based strategies into her work with students experiencing sensory processing challenges\, ADHD\, anxiety and related difficulties.
