Baking Club: Day of the Dead

Celebrate the traditions of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) by baking festive treats inspired by this traditional Mexican holiday. Participants will work together to prepare a delicious recipe while learning about the holiday’s rich cultural traditions and symbols. In addition to practicing kitchen skills, teamwork and creativity in a fun and welcoming environment, everyone will enjoy sampling their creations and take home any leftovers to share. No previous baking experience necessary. You will leave with a recipe packet and informaton about the holiday. We will adapt the recipes we pick to meet the dietary needs of all participants.

This class will be taught by CTI Program Manager Alli Brennan.
