Recycled Art Class: T-Shirt Tote Bags

Do you love art and getting creative? Do you like up-cycling items to recycle and reuse them? Join us at CTI for a monthly recycled art class. The purpose of this class is to take something ordinary and old, and make it into something new and beautiful. During this first session participants will take old t-shirts and make them into tote bags through cutting and tying. They will then get the opportunity to decorate and personalize their new tote bag. These make the perfect gift for a friend or loved one or can be used as a new accessory to add to your wardrobe. This class will be taught by Erika Cain, the program manager at CTI and an experienced teacher of 10 years. Participants do not need have any prior art experience in order to take this class.
